About Amitava

Teaching is not just about helping others learn—it's about inspiring growth, discipline, and confidence. Over the years, I have gathered knowledge through my education, professional experience, and personal preparation for competitive exams. I want to share this knowledge with my students so that they can avoid the difficulties I faced, learn smartly, and achieve their goals with clarity and motivation. Guiding others gives me deep satisfaction, and I believe that true success lies in helping others succeed.

About the lesson

As a dedicated Home & Online Tutor, my teaching philosophy focuses on concept clarity, discipline, and real-life application of knowledge.
Being a Sub-Inspector in West Bengal Police (Cyber Crime Wing) and a graduate in Chemistry (Hons), I combine academic depth with practical understanding and exam-oriented strategies.

1. Individualized Attention
Each student’s learning speed and understanding level are different.

I customize lessons based on student needs, ensuring no one is left behind.

2. Concept-Based Learning
I emphasize understanding “why” behind every topic instead of rote memorization.

Students learn through real-life examples, case discussions, and short quizzes.

3. Structured & Discipline-Oriented Study
Regular study schedule, progress tracking, and small tests after each topic.

Students develop focus, punctuality, and exam confidence.

4. Smart Notes & Exam Preparation
For school students (Classes V–X): concise notes and regular revision tests.

For competitive exams (Police, WBCS prelims, etc.): short tricks, MCQs practice, and previous-year question analysis.

5. Motivation & Guidance
I believe in motivating students to build confidence and self-discipline.

Career guidance and mentorship are provided for those preparing for government jobs (from Constable to SI level).

6. Teaching Mode
Home tuition (Barasat and nearby areas).

Online classes (for students across West Bengal and Ind
