About Me:
Hello! Welcome to my world of Musical Theatre.

I am an active professional musical theatre actor and vocal coach from China, holding an MFA in Musical Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting (GSA).

The biggest difference between taking lessons with a traditional vocal tutor and working with me? I live on the stage, and I know exactly what the creative team behind the audition table is looking for.

Having spent years auditioning, booking, and performing in high-stakes professional commercial productions across Asia and the UK, I understand the industry's real demands:

International Commercial Productions: Disney Theatrical Productions (Beauty and the Beast - Ensemble / Cover Mrs. Potts), Juooo (Rent - Ensemble / Cover Joanne), and Nine Dimensions (Roméo et Juliette - La Nurse).

Whether you are preparing for your next audition, working on challenging repertoire, or simply looking to build vocal confidence from scratch, our sessions will be creative, encouraging, and directly focused on results.

My teaching is grounded in real-world professional coaching experience. I have directed musical theatre programmes in top international schools and provided tailored 1-on-1 vocal coaching for Shanghai Disney Resort performers looking to step up into professional singing roles.

In our sessions, we focus on:

Healthy, Sustainable Technique: Breath support, effortless transitions into your mix and belt, and removing tension so you can sing freely.

Acting Through Song: Moving beyond notes to dissect lyrics, build characters, and deliver performances that feel alive.

Stage Presence & Audition Craft: Handling nerves, connecting with the room, and selecting repertoire that highlights your personal strengths.

Cross-Cultural Perspective: A supportive, patient ear for singers from all backgrounds and language levels.

Session Duration: Lessons are typically 45 to 60 minutes, flexibly tailored to your current vocal stamina, learning goals, and schedule.
