About Olalekan

I'm a passionate and experienced UI/UX tutor with a background in computer science and real-world design practice. I’ve taught students at different levels—from complete beginners to junior designers, helping them understand design principles, build strong portfolios, and gain confidence in their skills. My lessons are clear, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals. I use tools like Figma and real project examples to make learning engaging and easy to follow. With a friendly and supportive teaching style, I create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve, I'm here to guide you every step of the way with patience, professionalism, and a focus on real results.

About the lesson

As a UI/UX tutor, my teaching style is practical and beginner-friendly. I focus on making lessons interactive and hands-on, using tools like Figma and real examples to explain design concepts. A typical lesson starts with a quick recap, then I introduce a new topic, guide students through practice exercises, and give feedback to help them improve. I break down complex ideas into simple steps and make sure students understand the "why" behind every design decision. What makes me different is that I support students beyond class time, help them build real projects, and guide them based on their personal goals—whether they’re just starting, switching careers, or building a portfolio. My lessons are suitable for beginners, students, and junior designers who want to learn UI/UX in a clear and practical way.

Perfect! I'm taking multiple UI design lessons in Figma with Olalekan. He is truly a great teacher—he's helped me level up my skills so much!

His patience and ability to explain and visualize concepts while doing it in Figma are key. He doesn't just talk about it; he shows you how to build it perfectly.

Beyond the skills, he is super encouraging and easy to talk to, making the whole learning process low-stress and effective. Highly recommend for anyone diving into UI design!
