About María Elena

I am certified by the University of Cambridge to teach English (TKT). I have worked in many academies as an English teacher; the most recent of them was in Madrid, called English Connection. I was in charge of the teaching of more than 100 students, 60 of them in preparation for Cambridge official exams. The pass rate is 75%. During my private classes, I try to assess the areas where the student needs more work. In addition to practicing all parts of the speaking test, I clarify any questions you may have about the exam itself.

About the lesson

Thanks to my work experience in academies and autonomously, I am ready to work with children, teenagers and adults. I specialize in the preparation of the speaking part of official exams, both Cambridge (PET, FCE, CAE), as the TOEFL and the Official School of Languages. Class time I dedicate to practicing each of the speaking parts, emphasizing those where the student shows more difficulties. I have my own special exercise bank for each test. If the student has time and wishes to perform homework, assign home activities. Although I focus on speaking, my students can give me exercises and activities they have done on their own and I will gladly correct them. Once delivered, I return them corrected next week.

Perfect!
