About Abhinav

I am thrilled to present myself as a music teacher with over 8 years of experience. As a dedicated and passionate singer and a guitar player, I have had the privilege of teaching individuals of all ages and skill levels.

My approach to teaching is based on patience, understanding, and a commitment to excellence. I believe that every student is unique, and therefore, I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs and goals.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, I will work with you to develop a personalized curriculum that will help you reach your full potential as a musician.

My teaching style is centered around developing solid fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and self-expression. I emphasize the importance of proper technique and music theory while also encouraging my students to explore their own unique musical interests and styles.

In addition to teaching, I am also an active performer & an original singer/songwriter. This experience has given me valuable insights into the inner workings of the music industry, and I am always eager to share this knowledge with my students.

As a music teacher, my ultimate goal is to inspire and empower my students to achieve their musical aspirations.

Whether you're looking to become a professional musician or just want to learn how to sing and play your favorite songs, I am confident that I can help you reach your goals.

I am always learning new ways to improve as a musician and as a teacher and I'm sure I can help you do the same.

Thank you for taking the time to review my profile, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

About the lesson

In this class, students will first learn the fundamentals of playing the guitar, including proper technique for fretting, strumming, and picking, as well as music theory concepts such as chords, scales, and rhythm.

If the student is thorough with the basics, we will be moving ahead with advanced material.

Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of musical genres and styles, from rock to blues to jazz. We will focus on developing a repertoire of songs that highlights each student's unique musical interests and abilities.

I will also provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their playing skills.

As the class goes on, students will have a solid foundation in guitar techniques and a diverse repertoire of songs to draw from.

Prerequisites: None. This class is open to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. Anyone wanting to learn to play the guitar can join the class, and trust me, even YOU can learn to Play the Guitar!

Abhinav's response
Many people mention that music cannot be learnt at a higher age. However, Deepak is quite consistent with his practice and we are seeing a steady improvement with his guitar knowledge & skills already. Great going!

I came across the kids from a very Musical family. Teaching 4 of them ranging from 11 to 17 years, and they are catching up things really fast. With consistent practice, things are steadily going to go in the right direction.

Abhinav's response
It is a wonderful experience to guide Mr. Atilla with the basics of guitar. Although he is already aware of the ways to play the guitar, we are working on polishing and getting to know these things in depth. It is fun in exploring and customizing the course for him. Let's keep it going!

Perfect! I have always felt that the best thing about any class is the teacher. The teacher can make the most boring things very interesting and I felt Abhinav does that very well. He takes time to actually look into what the student needs and understand his views and goals and accordingly he tailors his class. That is what I have felt attending the classes. He gives me time to learn and catch up also keeps me engaged and at same time challenges me to explore, which I absolutely enjoy and love about his classes.

I have to mention that I feel really glad to teach Umama. He is very keen on learning the guitar & diving deep into every aspect of it and get it under his fingertips. He practices quite diligently & completes the hw to make sure we keep up with the progress!

Not just learning the chords and strums, Abhinav has helped me get a new perspective on music, that goes beyond just learning guitar. Surely one of the best teachers out there!

In most teacher student paradigms; the teacher comes, gives you a bunch of input, you go home, practice then spit out. Classic input and output chain.

When you can't do it most of 'em will say, "You gotta grind hard!!", "what's wrong with you? ", "I've told this like a hundred times, be attentive!!" etc etc

At the end of the day. It's not fair to assume that someone can't do it but finding out why they can't do it. What's stopping them, their kryptonite...

And, to do so one gotta care about the mentees that look up to them and a little coloring outside the lines.

I only had two such teachers in my life whom I owe a lot of things.

And, Abhinav is one of them. I honestly have never seen anyone so positive, polite and upbeat in my entire life and I get humbled everyday.

It's been a month and I kind of suck to be honest but I've a feeling that John Mayer song is not so far. Me and my dude, we'll jam on that!!

He is also currently learning music from the prestigious London College of Music and is a member of a melodic band, posting wonderful covers on Instagram

Abhinav is really good in explaining things in layman's words. He breaks up information into bits and pieces for students to grab easily. Upon his mentorship I was able to learn the bacis of guitar within a very short span of time. If u let him, he will push you harder to reach heights.

When it comes to teaching, all you need is patience, dedication and to be focussed is one of the preliminary factors. He is a confident teacher who is passionate about what he does. The unique fact about him is that he can guide one not only professionally, one can also be able to get hold of motivational stuff, which I believe, most of the youth strives for. He is a cheerful, music enthusiast trustworthy enough to rely upon.
