About Sajitha

I am a finance and accounting professional with over 11 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting, and practical accounting, including experience at EY. I have completed all CA Sri Lanka examinations and hold a B.Com (Special) degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

My professional expertise includes IFRS, IAS, ISA, financial statement preparation, audit procedures, internal controls, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students, fresh graduates, and working professionals develop their technical understanding and practical accounting skills.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and practical. I explain complex accounting standards in simple language and use real-world examples to connect theory with professional practice. My aim is to help every learner gain confidence, strengthen their accounting knowledge, and prepare for academic examinations and career opportunities in accounting and auditing.

I offer practical, easy-to-understand online accounting lessons covering **IFRS, IAS, ISA, and practical accounting**, designed for university students, accounting professionals, and individuals preparing for careers in accounting and auditing.

With over 11 years of professional experience in auditing, financial reporting, and accounting, including experience at EY, I focus on connecting accounting standards with real-world business situations.

**My lessons cover:**
- **IFRS & IAS:** Understanding accounting standards, practical applications, and financial statement preparation.
- **ISA:** Auditing standards, audit procedures, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit documentation.
- **Practical Accounting:** Journal entries, general ledger, trial balance, bank reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
- **Financial Statements:** Preparation and review of statements of financial position, profit or loss, and cash flows.
- **UAE Accounting & Taxation:** Practical introduction to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- **Audit Practice:** Real-world audit examples, working papers, substantive testing, and financial statement review.
