About Jennifer

I’m a qualified Drama Teacher and educational professional with extensive experience in Performing Arts instruction. My skillset includes production, direction, singing, coaching, mime, improv and both comedy and drama performance training. I’m known for my creative, energetic, and friendly personality, and I bring a lively, professional spirit to every session.
With a BA (Hons) in Drama and an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service), I work regularly at a London drama school and privately with students of all ages. I’m particularly skilled at identifying each performer’s strengths and growth areas, and I tailor lesson plans to encourage individual progress, confidence, and creativity. My teaching approach is adaptable and engaging, whether I’m working with children, teens, or adults.
I fell in love with performing as a child, and I’ve been training ever since. Now, as a professional actor with recent screen work on Netflix and BBC One, I continue to balance my acting career with my passion for teaching. Helping others achieve their creative goals is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. I’m patient, supportive, and fun, and I always aim to make lessons dynamic and never repetitive. Whether we’re working on scene repetition, character development, or building confidence, I create a safe, structured space where performers can take risks, explore, and grow.

My Approach as an Acting Coach:

*Initial Consultation – Tailored From the Start In our first one-on-one session (online or in person), I take the time to understand who you are as a performer, your goals, your level, your aspirations. Whether you're new to acting or preparing for a high-stakes audition, I’ll tailor every lesson to suit your unique journey.

*Unlocking Artistic Expression:
I provide a safe, creative space where you can explore acting through various channels: movement, voice, song, improvisation, role-play... I’ll help you connect with your emotions, build presence, and express yourself authentically across genres and styles.

*Consistent Feedback & Dynamic Techniques:
My lessons blend structure and play. I use tools like: Improvisation, Embodiment and physical storytelling, Relaxation and breath work, Character games, and script work, Vocal development and text analysis. Every session includes clear feedback and focused homework to help you keep growing between lessons.

*Scene Development & Creative Projects:
I help students develop original scenes for both theatre and screen. Whether you're crafting material for a showreel or working on a short play, I’ll guide you through everything, from story structure and dialogue to blocking and performance choices.

*Industry Insights & Audition Prep:
I provide honest, practical advice on: How to create high-quality self-tapes, Drama school and scholarship applications, Building your actor’s toolkit (headshots, CVs, reels), Networking and navigating the industry, I love helping actors build not just their craft but their careers.

*For Young Performers:
-Private School Interview & Drama Scholarship Coaching: I work with children and teens to prepare for school interviews and drama scholarships through structured role-play, public speaking exercises, and performance coaching that builds natural confidence.

*Self-Tape Mastery:
Self-tapes are now essential. I offer: A professional recording setup (lighting, camera, background, sound), In-session redirection, Warm-ups and final prep before filming. A fully edited audition take, sent to you by email. Please note: All tapes are deleted after 3 days, so make sure to download and save them promptly.

*Teaching Style & Techniques:
I draw from a wide range of methods, including: Stanislavski’s System Meisner Technique, Laban Movement Analysis, Script Analysis and character breakdown, Camera acting and emotional access. I focus on helping you truly inhabit your character, from psychological truth to physical presence.

*Mentorship & Progress Reviews:
Every 10 sessions, we take time to reflect on your progress, assess ongoing projects, and adapt your training to keep you challenged, inspired, and growing with intention.

Over the course of 5 intense days, we engaged in rigorous two-hour sessions aimed at refining his audition performance. We focused on his monologue and the performance of his chosen song. Despite the short timeframe, Bayar approached each lesson with dedication and a hunger for improvement. Online Lessons £60 per hour.
At your home: £70* plus travel expenses. *Depending on the distance. -Within 30min of walking distance: £20 round trip (London Bridge). -Anything that exceeds this, needs to be calculated at a rate of £10 per 30 min of the trip. On the way back (after the lesson) you need to include the time to get to your house and the time it takes me to get back to mine*.
