About Khema
I am a passionate individual that loves to teach ballet, science and math. I also love to read, dance and play piano! I am currently enrolled at the University of Ottawa in the Honours program. It is a bachelor of science with a specialization in Environmental Science. I also studied full time in the professional ballet program at The School of Dance of 8 years and I am currently working on my Advanced 2 Cecchetti Exam to allow me to hopefully teach the Italian method of ballet professionally. Furthermore, I have recently entered the Contemporary Dance Diploma Program.
I look forward to teaching anyone who needs help with their studies and or those looking to learn classical ballet!

A typical class will be tailored to the individual student. It fully depends on your experience as a dancer! I can teach you the basics of ballet technique or coach you in a ballet variation.
I was trained at The School of Dance. I studied the Italian method of Ballet called the Cecchetti method. I can take you from the positions of the feet to centre work, however, I place an emphasis on technique, rather than variations. I can also teach specific ballet variations from a host of different ballets.
I look forward to teaching an aspiring ballerina/ballerino. My first language is English. However, I can speak french as well. It is not as strong as my English though.
