About Antonio
My name is Antonio D'Amato, I am 30 years old and I am a professional bass player.
Graduated from the "Boito" Conservatory of Parma in the three-year Jazz Electric Bass at the Popular address;
Graduated from the "Verdi" Conservatory of Milan, at the two-year Pop-Rock Electric Bass.
I have an excellent live experience, and I have played in various formations, which have allowed me to deepen a vast range of musical genres: Pop, Rock, Funk, Disco music, Reggae, Acid Jazz, RnB, Revival, Soul, Gospel etc.
Great recording studio experience.

About the lesson

The lessons will take place following a personalized program, based on the student's objectives, which we will define in a first short free video call, in order to understand the knowledge available.
During our lessons we will be able to deepen a wide range of topics:
- Left hand and right hand setting;
- Basic and advanced techniques;
- How to get better sound;
- The importance of timing;
- Reading a score for bass, or a TAB;
- Exercises to develop the mastery of the instrument under different aspects;
- Ear development: can you play a song you know without knowing the chords, anticipating them?
- Playing live and in the studio: when will I be ready? What do I need to know about it?
The lessons are accessible to anyone, with no age or experience limit.
Basic, intermediate, advanced level.
The repertoire to be played will be chosen based on the aptitude and musical tastes of the student, following his taste, to better face this path.
