I was one of the first student of Dhrisia Madam. She patiently taught me everything from the basics and has been very encouraging of me from day 1. I have also seen several of her dance performances which left me awestruck and it was after seeing one such performance that I decided to take classes from her. Along with helping me in making good progress on my form based on her excellent knowledge and skills, she is also very friendly towards all the students. The class is always really fun and I look forward to these classes everyday. Her lessons and the way that she explains the meaning behind every gesture made me realise that Bharatnatyam is not just an art but a way of life.
