About Alex
I hold a BFA in dance from the Ailey School and Fordham University in New York and have also trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and have spent summers at the National Ballet School of Canada, the Quinte Ballet School and Toronto Dance Theatre. Most recently I’ve trained at the b12 workshop in Berlin for professional dancers. I’ve danced professionally in both Canada and the US and have taught at studios in the Montréal area for the past 10 years. Past students have gone on to dance and train professionally, notably at l’école de danse contemporaine, l’école supérieure and the dance program at Concordia. I’m passionate about creating healthier and more positive dance environments for both students and teachers.

I teach ballet, contemporary and jazz dance to private students as well as groups and can teach from beginner to advanced. I also offer audition prep work and individual lessons for those who wish to refine their technique. My classes are always tailored to the needs of the individual and I seek to create a positive space and learning environment.
