About Ashley
Hello! I’m an English tutor from the United States with a strong background in writing, grammar, and clear communication. I previously worked as an editor for an independent publishing house, where I helped refine writing, improve grammar, and ensure ideas were communicated clearly and effectively.
In addition to my editorial experience, I spent time during college supporting students through tutoring and homeschooling at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Helping others learn and grow has always been something I find very rewarding.
I currently work in the information technology field where I lead projects and communicate with teams in professional environments. This experience allows me to help students develop both everyday English skills and professional communication.
I am patient, organized, and supportive, and I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving step by step.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, crocheting, and exploring new technology.

With my background as a professional editor and experience supporting students at various levels, I aim to make English easier to understand while helping learners express themselves clearly and effectively.

Rather than memorizing rules, I help students understand why English works the way it does so they can apply it naturally in speaking and writing.
