About Robin
I am an accomplished upright and electric bass player based in the Mornington Peninsula, with over 20 years of professional experience. I graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where I specialised in jazz performance on the double bass.
With a broad background in music education spanning public and private schools, as well as private tuition, I’ve helped students of all ages and skill levels achieve their musical goals. My performance work covers a wide range of genres, including jazz, pop, classical, rock, Latin, country, and New Orleans-style music.
I’ve performed in orchestral pits, concert bands, cover bands, and ensembles across Australia, and I currently serve as a full-time musician in the Royal Australian Navy Band.
I also offer electric bass lessons and standalone music theory tuition.
A travel fee may apply for home visits, depending on your location.
I hold a current Working With Children Check (details available on request) and welcome all enquiries. Whether you're ready to begin or simply have questions, feel free to get in touch via text, email, or phone to organise your first lesson.
