About Balvinder
My name is Balvinder Kalon. I am a enthusiastic and experienced pianist and guitarist who provides piano, guitar, and music production lessons within in Wolverhampton for students of all backgrounds and ages. I am classical pianist with a strong passion for piano, over the years my repertoire has consisted of pieces from composers such as JS Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Ludovicio Einaudi, Haydn, Schumann, Debussy, Brahms, Halffter as well music from contemporary rock styles.
After achieving Grade 8 (ABRSM) in piano and both guitar by the age of 17, I then went onto performing at the ‘ABRSM High Scorers’ concert for the mayor of Wolverhampton in 2012.

Whether you would like to play simply for pleasure or to pass graded examinations I am able to teach within a range of different styles whether it be jazz, pop, or classical as per the students desire. As well as simply playing piano I am able to provide music theory tuition whether it be integrated into the piano lessons or separately as per the students desires, music theory can also be learnt simply on its own if desired.
When teaching I provide a encouraging and enthusiastic approach to push each student to the best of their ability. Lessons are tailored specifically to each student focusing specifically on each students strengths and weaknesses in order to achieve an progressive and positive result during the course of learning.
