About Camila
I am a guitar tutor with over 4 years of experience, specialising in blues and expressive playing. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance. My lessons are always tailored to the individual student. I teach Beginner to Advanced players.
I specialise in slide guitar, open tunings, and fingerpicking blues styles. These techniques allow for a wide range of sounds. I help students build control and confidence. Learning is clear and enjoyable.
I teach regional blues styles such as Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont. Students learn the unique rhythm and feel of each. I guide them to play authentically. They also develop their own musical voice.
My teaching is supportive and motivating. I help students stay focused and inspired. Feedback is clear and practical. Join me and explore the rich heritage of the blues.

My guitar teaching method focuses on building strong reading skills. I use a clear and organised approach. Students learn to read tablature and standard notation. I show how both systems connect.
We start with simple note reading and rhythm exercises. Sight-reading is introduced step by step. Rhythm notation is always part of the lesson. This builds accuracy and timing.
As students progress, they read more complex music. I help them recognise patterns and structures. Sight-reading becomes a regular habit. This builds confidence and independence.
I support students who enjoy precision and clear learning. I also guide those exploring creative styles. Feedback is always clear and helpful. Let’s unlock the world of written music together.
