About Penelope
With 11 years of experience, I work as a dedicated guitar tutor and music mentor. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with Guitar Emphasis. My teaching centers on songwriting, composition, and artist development. I help students transform thoughts and emotions into music. Song structure, melody writing, and creative planning are key lesson elements. I strongly support originality and personal expression. Students are guided to shape a sound that feels authentic. I mentor aspiring singer-songwriters and independent musicians. Recording original tracks is part of the learning process. I provide guidance through each creative stage. My approach to teaching guitar blends creativity with solid technique. Every lesson begins with assessing the student’s level and musical direction. I focus on rhythm, tone shaping, and fretboard clarity. Chord-based players are supported in improving feel, flow, and musical expression. Detail-oriented learners receive structured guidance for clean and accurate playing.
Improvisation plays an important role in development. Students learn how scales and modes work in real music. Theory is always connected to sound and application. Jam-based learning helps students react naturally in musical situations. Confidence grows through live practice and backing tracks. Timing, listening, and interaction are constantly refined. I aim to help students think musically. Creativity becomes natural and spontaneous.
