About Lainey
With more than 10 years of experience, I help guitar students develop real musical skills. I have a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies and a strong passion for teaching. My lessons are focused and easy to follow.
Ear training plays a central role in my teaching. I show students how to transcribe solos and recognize chord progressions. This helps them connect with music in a deeper way.
I also guide students in developing pitch accuracy. Over time, they become more confident in what they hear and play.
Music starts to feel natural and intuitive.

My teaching method focuses on helping students become well-rounded guitar players. I encourage exploration and creativity. Learning should feel exciting.
We work with different genres like funk, metal, country, and jazz. Students learn how to adjust their playing style. This builds flexibility.
I include lessons on improvisation, rhythm, and tone. These skills help students sound more professional.
I guide students to explore new ideas and develop confidence. Growth comes from trying new things.
