About Nash
I have 7+ years of experience teaching guitar in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance (Contemporary Styles). I specialize in helping students write original music. Lessons focus on composition and arranging for guitar. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals. Harmonic concepts are introduced and explored. Melodic invention is a key focus. Counterpoint is included to enhance creativity. Students learn to record demos of their work. I teach beginners, advanced students, and professional composers. Lessons combine technique with artistic expression. I encourage exploration and experimentation. We analyze music and create original arrangements. I adapt lessons to each student’s needs. Students gain confidence in composing and performing. I focus on developing technical and creative skills. Every session inspires musical growth. I teach guitar with performance and collaboration in mind. Students explore ensemble playing and understanding band roles. Communication, timing, and group dynamics are key parts of the lessons. Stage presence and performing confidently are emphasized. Fingerstyle players and late starters are guided to shine in team settings. Lessons include arranging, improvisation, and collaborative exercises. Students practice live performance skills regularly. I help them feel confident and prepared for the stage. Each session balances technique with real-world experience. Students leave with the skills and mindset to perform successfully.
