About Maitane

I have been studying music for 12 years, and I just finished grade 4 of the professional intermediate level. While studying in highschool I was part of a music academy as a piano teacher, and I have also worked with kids at several volunteering programmes. Now I'm a second year Biochistry student in Dundee University and I love teaching music aside from my studies.

About the lesson

For the piano lessons I choose a variety of songs depending on your level and preferences. We can have a classical focused class and dominate pieces from Bach to Debussy, or learn the piano accompainment to your favourite songs! For the theoretical classes we will work through exercises (musical scale construction, intervals, modulation... and up to chords and harmony) taken from my conservatory in a dynamic and entertaining way. For the music reading we will work through music pieces of various levels, always working up and increasing difficultness. You will quickly find yourself improoving and building up good musical skills.
