About Jennifer
Aside from the credentials I genuinely earned, I'm a progressivist teacher. I act as a facilitator and guide who helps students learn by doing and solving real-world problems rather than just memorizing facts. I believe that learners can learn better when they discover ideas on their own and I'm the one who'll guide them through that discovery. I also teach with value, because, learners should know the purpose first in order to internalize the lessons and apply them in their real life.

Before teaching, I make sure that my lesson is align with the national standard competency. I value constructive alignment in my activities, content, and assessments to meet the standard goal. My role as a teacher expand behind teaching concepts, I also integrate values that will help guide students in learning. In terms of pedagogy, I always consider the needs of my students by knowing their current knowledge and skills first before adjusting the difficulty of the lesson and the strategy that I'm going to use in teaching. In my field, I want my learners to become interactive, so I make use of simulations, games, and other techniques that will pick their interest. I believe that learn best when you act as a facilitator and guide them in discovery of learning.
