About Billy
I am a classically trained ballet dancer based in the UK. I studied for 8 years at a leading vocational ballet school training in ballet and a variety of other dance styles, achieving a Level 6 National Diploma in Professional Dance. I have since danced for professionally for several years, touring the UK and internationally dancing a range of roles in various classical productions.

Having trained in several styles of ballet (Cecchetti, RAD) I base my classes on a blend of these techniques.
I believe each dancer is unique and as such, the learning experience should be tailored to each student's needs. From learning the basics, getting to grips with the technique, coordination and vocabulary, to coaching more advanced students, delving deeper into the artistry and finesse of classical ballet.
Whilst technique is, of course, the foundation of ballet, I don't think it counts for anything without the artistry or 'sense of dance'.
By working from the fundamentals of ballet, technique, discipline and artistry I think that anyone can dance. With these foundations, I try to instil a confidence in students which will aid them not only in dance but throughout their lives.
