About Jacob
I am a professional musician who has made 5 studio albums so far and who has been teaching guitar and vocals for 10 years. For the last two years I started teaching guitar online as I found out that this format actually works really well. Two years ago a student of mine moved elsewhere, but nonetheless wanted to continue taking guitar classes with me, so we agreed to continue online. Ever since I have been taking in more online students as I see that this format can actually lead to a great rapport, effective teaching and real progress.

I focus mainly on acoustic guitar fingerpicking style, and I am proud to say that I have taken many students who started knowing absolutely nothing to a very decent level of guitar playing, accompanying themselves or others singing a song, or playing purely instrumental music. We start with the building blocks and then step by step we add layers of complexity to the playing.
