About Søren
My name is Søren Jensen and I am a professional musician and music teacher.
I have played drums for many years and published the drum book Kadaboum, which many music schools use.
I was educated at The Drummers Collective in New York, have a bachelor's degree from the Department of Musicology at Kbh and studied pedagogy at DPU in Emdrup.
I play rock, pop, latin, jazz and everything in between. In addition, I record music in my studio, both my own music and for other artists.

Experienced music teacher offers personal and differentiated lessons in drums, guitar, piano, bass, ensemble and studio technique. I have published the drum book Kadaboum, which many music schools use as a basic book.
The teaching takes place in top class settings in my own studio in Nørrebro in Kbh.
Over the years, I have also opened my eyes to students with special challenges, and currently have quite a few students in this category.
In principle, I teach all ages and all levels.
A typical lesson with me can consist of technique, improvisation, sheet music, playing by ear and in addition leave with a good feeling of immersing yourself in the music.

Søren leads the band of my teenage daughter and her friends at the International School in Hørsholm. My daughter loves it! Søren knows how to let them play together, listen to each other, using their potential and giving them self confidence. Søren is patient, cool and connects easily with the kids. For sure not always an easy job inspiring teenage kids coming from different countries and having different levels of music playing.
