About Laura
I am a professional flautist and currently work as assistant principal flautist with the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra. I hold two master's degrees in flute performance (Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona) and a bachelor's degree in music education (Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Finland). I have performed as a flautist with various symphony orchestras in Spain and Finland and have over 10 years of teaching experience, primarily with advanced students and musicians pursuing professional careers. I offer a trial lesson to discuss your current situation and goals and to develop a realistic and personalized learning plan. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

The classes are designed to help you prepare for auditions effectively, in a structured and realistic way, based on direct experience within professional orchestras. We specifically work on: • Orchestral excerpts commonly used in auditions • Orchestral style, tempo, articulation, and character • Efficient study strategies • Mental preparation and pressure management • Audition simulations and detailed feedback. When necessary, I incorporate body techniques and mindfulness tools, especially useful for working on tension, breathing, and stage presence. The classes are 100% online, with a highly effective format for this type of preparation. The classes are designed for: • Undergraduate or Master's students • Musicians preparing for auditions in Spanish or European orchestras • Flutists at an advanced or pre-professional level • Professionals who wish to improve their audition performance

Laura is an outstanding teacher. Very clear, organised and highly professional. Her lessons have helped me a lot with orchestral excerpts and audition preparation, especially in understanding style and practice strategies. Her orchestral experience really shows, and the feedback is always precise and constructive. I highly recommend her to serious and motivated flutists.
