About Charles
Born and raised in France. Native language is Italian and French. Have been studying at the Conservatoire Regional de Lyon, then moved to Los Angeles to study at the Colburn Academy and lastly arrived in Montreal tu pursue a Bachelor and a Master of music at McGill.
Active member of Sixtrum percussion, a professional percussion ensemble. As well as Ensemble Eclat, a newly founded new music ensemble.
Has won a first prize and second prize in 2021 at the Universal Marimba Youth Competition in marimba and snare drum.

I teach in a student by student case. I like to go over fundamentals at the beginning of the lesson and then approach pieces, solos or improvisation. Music being a form of expression my goal is to teach my students to be able to express themselves through music.
