About Luke
I have played and sung in bands and solo for 10 years and played guitar for 15. I am a full time touring singer/songwriter and guitarist, prevalent on the jam night scene in London - hosting my own jam night LA Live Nights. These nights are demanding funk/fusion nights, therefore I have experience in conducting jam bands and soloing. We currently have two residencies at Unit 3, in Tottenham and one at Wild Card Brewery. We often play at THE JAGO, in Dalston and also Ninety One Living Room too!
Currently, I tour around Europe and The UK singing and playing guitar. I'm often playing at different Sofar Sounds Shows. Therefore, I can help students on learning to not just play, but also perform!
I have written modernist-classical pieces that have gained me an interview with the London Royal Philharmonic, earning me a scholarship to the Purcell School of Music, Summer School. As wellbeing awarded: East Anglian Young Composer of the Year 2017.

I have taught children and adults, and I am comfortable with teaching both. My lessons are for any age, as long as the material can be practiced between lessons.
I will encourage the student to learn as much about the different ways of playing the guitar as possible: rhythm and lead.
