About Joseph

I'm a professional classical pianist and piano teacher with 10 years' teaching experience.

I completed my Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance, followed by a Master's degree with a scholarship from the Liceu Conservatory of Music in Barcelona, where I studied with teachers such as Josep Colom, José Enrique Bagería, Stanislav Pochekin, among others.

Throughout my career, I have won prizes in national and international competitions, performed as a soloist and chamber musician in various theatres, and collaborated with contemporary composers on the premiere of new works.

Furthermore, teaching forms a very important part of my professional activity. I work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. My lessons are taught in both Spanish and English.
My goal as a piano teacher is to help each one of my students to develop a solid technique and the ability to enjoy playing the piano.

My teaching approach is professional and personalized, but also close and friendly. I adapt to each of my students' goals, whether it be classical music, film scores or modern repertoire, while always keeping a technical and musical foundation that allows them to progress consistently.

About the lesson

Every student has different goals, and my lessons are tailored to suit them. I adapt my approach to suit each student's age, experience and goals.

Regardless of whether your goal is to pursue a professional career or simply to enjoy the piano as a hobby, you can benefit from my piano lessons. Some students wish to play classical music, while others prefer film scores or modern music. My role is to help them achieve these goals through technique, musicality and a solid understanding of the instrument.

I offer a free initial consultation (15 min) to get to know each other, discuss the student's musical interests and goals, answer any questions, and explain my teaching approach. This session also provides an opportunity to assess the student's current level and determine the most suitable approach for their lessons.
