About Leander
With more than 9 years of experience as a piano tutor, I have taught students from different age groups including school students, college learners, and working professionals. I am dedicated to making music learning simple and effective.
My teaching style focuses on flexibility, communication, and practical learning. I customise my lessons according to each student’s needs and pace. I ensure that students clearly understand each concept before moving forward.
I teach piano along with music theory, rhythm training, and ear development. These help students improve their musical understanding. I also include exercises and song-based learning to make lessons engaging.
My unique skill is simplifying complex topics into easy steps. I help students improve their technique, confidence, and consistency. I also guide them on effective practice methods.
I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment. My goal is to help students enjoy learning piano and achieve their goals.

My teaching methodology is centred on inspiring creativity and building confidence. I believe piano learning should be an enjoyable, motivating, and personalised experience. Through clear communication, I understand each student’s goals, strengths, and challenges, allowing me to design lessons that are tailored, meaningful, and effective.
Creativity is at the heart of my teaching. I encourage students to improvise, compose, and explore a variety of musical styles. This not only strengthens technical skills but also develops a personal musical voice and expressive ability. Flexibility ensures that lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, creating an environment where learning is productive, engaging, and fun.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic approach provides a strong foundation in both technical skills and musical understanding. My goal is to help students become confident, expressive, and passionate musicians who enjoy learning, performing, and exploring music creatively.
