About Tanmay
I'm an alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology, MESRA, Ranchi from where I have obtained my Master's Degree in Computer Applications. I'm basically a science graduate and have obtained another Master's Degree in Management (in Finance) along with a professional degree in Law. I have more than 21 years of Information Technology industry experience working with companies like Tech Mahindra, Birlasoft, etc. and clients like McKinsey, BCG, British Telecom, Motorola, General Electric, etc. I have played different roles in the industry starting my career as a faculty for various subjects like C Programming, Java, HTML, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems, Computer Graphics, Mobile Communication, etc. Then, as a Software Engineer for Java and Oracle-based applications, then as a System Analyst, Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager, Delivery Manager, ISO 9001 & 27001 Internal Auditor and as CTO. Now, I'm a professional freelancer for Techno-Legal and Management Systems Consultancy.

I coach the final or pre-final year engineering students who are looking to enter the information technology industry as a software developer or engineer. I generally take one-hour online sessions in which I first ask questions from different areas or papers of computer science for about 20-25 minutes. Thereafter, I provide my feedback cum recommendations for about 20-25 minutes and keep 10-15 minutes to answer questions asked by the student.
