About Jamie
I've worked as a professional, touring musician my entire adult life. I went straight from education into playing music around the world and I'm incredibly grateful for that.
I hope to inspire & show evidence to enthusiastic musicians that there is a tangible future for them within music when given the right framework... whether they want to build a career performing & recording, or simply be able to play around the house and with their friends.

I offer one-to-one, personalised music lessons directly from somebody who has worked professionally as a musician for the last decade. Rather than following the same rigid lesson plan with every student, our sessions will be tailored towards exactly what you want to achieve. Even if that's just learning a specific song you've really liked that week.
Lessons are relaxed, patient and most importantly, supportive. I teach all ages. Complete beginners are absolutely welcome and encouraged.
As a bass player first, most of my approach is focused around understanding rhythm and feel in music.
If you're just starting to learn, preparing to play a show or trying to hone your skills as an advanced player, I'll be willing and happy to help you get to your next steps.
