About Jordan
I've been involved in the music industry since a young age, and have since been blessed with opportunities to both teach and perform with Music Forward Foundation at House of Blues, guest write with an array of artists in studios nationwide, and be mentored myself by Grammy-nominated lyricists and engineers. Outside of music, I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Education. I enjoy working with individuals who either are just getting started in songwriting and looking to gain a foundation, or who have prior experience with the process and are looking to continue honing their craft.

To say there is one correct method to songwriting itself defeats the purpose entirely. My teaching method is to foster confidence and encourage creative thinking so that my students might be able to form their own methods and techniques. In our lessons, we will walk through the foundational building blocks of what it takes to write a song, brainstorm concepts and anchor phrases, and put together a complete, studio-ready composition.

Details
I'm willing to offer a mentorship track outside of the 1 hr class period. This would include: access via text, FaceTime, industry advice, possible connections/outside opportunities etc.. If you wish to take part in this, my price is $160 /wk. which includes one (1) 1 hr. lesson that week.
