My name is Simon Lulimo Mwamafupa, a professional teacher and native Swahili speaker from Tanzania. I have extensive teaching experience and a strong passion for helping learners develop their language and communication skills.

As an experienced educator, I understand that every student learns differently. I therefore use clear explanations, practical examples, conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary development, reading, and grammar activities to make learning Swahili simple and enjoyable.

My lessons are friendly, patient, interactive, and adapted to each student's individual goals and level. I welcome beginners who are starting from zero, as well as intermediate and advanced learners who want to improve their fluency and confidence.

I can help you learn Swahili for travel, work, study, everyday communication, or cultural interest. I also introduce learners to Tanzanian expressions and everyday communication so they can use Swahili naturally in real-life situations.

My goal is not only to teach you Swahili, but also to help you become confident in using it.

My Teaching Approach

Hello! My name is Simon, a professional teacher and native Swahili speaker from Tanzania.

I use a simple, practical, and student-centered teaching approach. I believe that learning Swahili should be enjoyable, interactive, and focused on real-life communication.

In my lessons, I use conversation practice, questions and answers, vocabulary building, pronunciation exercises, grammar explanations, reading, and everyday situations. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student's level, goals, age, and learning needs.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although the lesson can be adapted depending on the student's needs and availability.

I have extensive experience as a teacher and have worked with learners in different educational settings. I am patient, friendly, and committed to helping students gain confidence in using Swahili.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, including teenagers and adults. They are ideal for people learning Swahili for travel, work, study, communication, cultural interest, or personal development.

Whether you are learning your first Swahili words or want to improve your fluency, I will help you progress step by step.
