About Connor
Hello!
I am a musician based in Bedford and I specialise in trombone. I regularly perform across the country and abroad with a majority of my work being focused in London.
Performing:
I have been working as a performer for almost a decade and in this time I have performed at many festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude, Cork Jazz, EFG London Jazz among others. Along the way I have been on a number of tours with musicians such as Strictly Come Dancing vocalist Tommy Blaize and DJ Judge Jules. In addition to this, I have been involved in theatre music, studio work, original projects and many function groups.
Teaching:
I have been teaching various students from primary school aged to adult since 2016 and in this time I have covered the following subjects: jazz, classical, pop, music grades, improvisation, composing, arranging, Sibelius and Logic Pro.
As well as 121 teaching, I have experience in workshop leading and classroom work where I have focused on group instrumental work as well as singing and a variety of interactive activities.
Education:
I have both a postgraduate and undergraduate from music conservatoire.

I believe it is important to take the time to best understand my students needs and desires. Once we have established this, I like to set targets for us to work towards.
While I have core practices that I teach, I feel that following a students personal rate of progression and interest is crucial in order to gain the most effective form of learning.
