About Maria

I am a professional educator who is resourceful, and goal-driven with a strong commitment to each child's social and intellectual development. I assure that you will never be doubtful in the basics of science and will develop deep insight in various concepts in life science. Additionally, science will be a fun subject from now on. The classes are designed so as to facilitate proper understanding of ideas. I can provide individual attention to learners. I possess a friendly approach in dealing with students. I will never hesitate to attend to the needs of each learner. Moreover, I believe I can inspire my students to become good citizens and socially committed individuals. Together we can learn, unlearn, and relearn science. Furthermore, I am eager to learn from my students as well.

About the lesson

I am a B.Ed. graduate and completed five months of school internship as teacher trainee from September 1 to 30, 2021, and November 11, 2021, to February 25, 2022, at N.S.S. G.H.S. Perunna. I have a master's degree in Zoology and a bachelor's in Zoology Model II Vocational Food Microbiology. I completed schooling in ICSE and ISC board. Moreover, I have cleared the IELTS exam with an overall band score of 7.5 on 16 February 2023. *I can teach general science and English for students from elementary to upper primary school levels. *Furthermore, I can tutor higher secondary students in Biology. *In addition, I can provide lessons in Zoology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry for undergraduate pupils. *I can teach students pursuing masters in Zoology with special focus on CSIR NET syllabus. 1. I explain the basic concepts thoroughly after assessing the background knowledge of the learner. 2. I use a constructivist approach in teaching children with activity-oriented classes. 3. The classes will be taken according to the convenient time of the learner. 4. The classes can be taught in English (and in Malayalam if required by the pupil) 5. All classes will be taught with the help of PowerPoint presentations and other sufficient learning materials will be provided. 6. The doubts will be clarified with no hesitation. The student can ask to repeat the concept till he or she completely grasps it without any reluctance or hindrance. 7. Class tests will be given after learning each module to assess the learner. 8. For postgraduate students, CSIR NET question papers and topics will also be discussed. I adopt a friendly way to approach students and treat them with respect. I am open to constructive criticism. Students can openly share their opinion about my classes, and I will rectify my mistakes. Learning is a lifelong process. It requires cooperation of both the learner and the teacher. Together we can learn, unlearn, and relearn science in the most interesting way. I am eager to meet you, guide you as well as to learn from you.
