About Samuel
I began teaching in 2009, both in middle school and high school, but left in 2012 to begin tutoring full time. My passion has always been working with students one on one. I have enjoyed the challenge of constantly reinventing my teaching style to connect with students where they are at, not where they are expected to be. I take students as I find them, work with them, and develop a rapport that lets me show the student how to build their own foundation for future successes.
If you are a student looking for help getting through a Gen Ed requirement in college, I am your tutor. If you are an AP student looking to get a high score on their May Exam, I am your tutor. If you are middle school student looking for a challenge as you begin thinking about high school, I am your tutor.

As a tutor with over a decade experience, I have had to adapt my teaching style to fit many different types of students. Every new client is personally evaluated and their needs explored; together we develop a plan to ensure their success.
Unlike many tutors, I am not simply the math tutor, the science tutor, the test prep tutor. I have taught every subject at some point and typically help students in multiple subjects simultaneously. I catch students up, keep them current with their work, and set the stage for preparing them for their future challenges.
Learning is a lifelong skill and it is one that I strive to foster in my students.
