My approach as a vocal tutor is supportive, structured, and goal-driven. I focus on building healthy vocal technique first—breath support, vocal placement, pitch accuracy, and stamina—so singers feel confident and safe using their voice. I combine technical training with musical expression, helping students not only sing correctly but communicate through their performance. I specialize in audition preparation, guiding students through song selection, interpretation, performance presence, and managing nerves. I meet each student where they are, adapting techniques to their learning style, voice type, and personal goals. My teaching style is encouraging but intentional, creating a space where students feel challenged without feeling overwhelmed. What sets me apart is the balance between technical training and real-world application. I don’t just teach singers how to sing—I teach them how to prepare, perform, and walk into auditions feeling ready. I emphasize confidence, consistency, and vocal health, while making lessons engaging and personalized. My experience with audition prep allows me to help students feel polished and professional, regardless of their starting level. A typical lesson with Paris includes: -Vocal warm-ups tailored to the student’s voice and goals -Technique work (breath control, resonance, range, diction) -Repertoire or audition song coaching with detailed feedback -Performance and interpretation work to build confidence -Optional music theory or ear training, especially for younger students -Clear take-home exercises so progress continues between lessons -Audition-focused lessons may also include mock auditions, timing practice, and constructive performance critique.
