About Bradley

I am a professional writer / teacher / presenter & visual arts expert who has lived and worked in many countries. I have also written movie scripts, documentaries and books. If you need help with essays or assignments, presentations, public speaking or debating, then I'm your go-to-guy! Classes are always entertaining, insightful and productive. I teach and mentor High School and University students privately or in groups, as well as business professionals learning english as a second language.

Having returned from overseas because of the pandemic, I now reside on the Sunshine Coast, Qld.

My credentials include: 2 Degrees (i) Communications and (ii) Film and Media Studies. I am also TEFL/ IELTS qualified.

My career as a Professional Writer and Communications Expert includes working for Governments, Corporations and NGOs worldwide, such as Red Cross International. As showcased on my website galleries, many of my travel assignments relate to documenting, or advising on humanitarian crises. Additional skills include photography and video production.

About the lesson

Listed below is a basic overview of how and what I teach, and fee, noting I also have a lot of experience as a life coach when it comes to helping students who are struggling to focus, or who are in need of a new perspective.

I do private classes online and or face to face depending on your location. I reside on the Sunshine Coast.

WRITING

For creative writing, essays, assignments, dissertations etc, I systematically work my way through the process of learning about the topic and the approach the student wishes to take, and then formulate a basic layout or approach that will effectively represent the student's overall point of view.

In other words, we work together, from beginning to end, until a masterpiece is created! Classes are always entertaining, relaxed and dedicated to the cause of getting a top mark!

RHETORIC

Rhetoric is the art of persuasive speaking and writing. To be good at it, one essentially must master the art of Reason. Simply put, rhetoric requires thorough research of a topic, and one's ability to organize all information into a succinct and entertaining format that others can clearly understand. To be successful at rhetoric, it is first crucial that the student be confident in their own understanding of the topic they are trying to describe or explain.

As a writer and presenter, teaching rhetoric is my speciality. Rhetoric is the essential key to how we communicate, and whether or not a student does it well!

PUBLIC SPEAKING / PRESENTATIONS

Once upon a time I was a terrible public speaker. I was so nervous and shy that I could barely utter a single word outloud even to the smallest of audiences! Now, after lots of practice, in many different countries, I'm the complete opposite. My presentations are unstoppable and beyond refute. The change, however, only came when I realized the secret to public speaking was mastering rhetoric, which is the art of persuasion and reason.

If you want to be a good public speaker, you first must know what you're talking about, which then must be presented in an interesting and concise way. A little humour too is well advised for it helps keep your audience engaged. Next, you have to train your mind not to wonder or be distracted at the time of speaking. And lastly, one's breathing must be controlled, to reduce the level of panic and to speak with a smooth, calm voice!

Practicing alot is obviously a big part of one's success!

Perfect! I am 26 year old foreign student studying Business Commerce in Western Australia. I am also blind. Bradley has been my tutor for the last two months, in which time I have seen my grades rise, for the very first time in my life, from low to high. For each uni assignment I am required to do, Bradley has been there for me from the start, helping explain how the assignment needs to be structured, and written.
