About Simon

I am a trained actor with a special passion for voice and accent coaching. I trained at the Guildford School of Acting. Because I worked very hard on my own accent I believe I can offer in-depth help, tips and tricks to improve quickly and efficiently.

About the lesson

I offer lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds. My method is based on my own experience with techniques introduced at University as well as the works of Cicely Berry and Patsy Rodenburg. I believe learning needs to be fun and I tailor my lessons to my students.

Simon’s English is impeccable, and whether you are American or English, there is essentially no language barrier when communicating with him. Simon has helped greatly with my pronunciation of German (one of the biggest hurdles for non-native speakers) as well as the nuance of idiomatic phrases and colloquialisms. Sites like duo lingo can be wildly helpful to get you started on a language, but there is really no substitute for practice with a native speaker. Simon is patient, kind, and a wonderful person to spend time with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to begin studying German, or improve their existing skills.
