As a seasoned educator with 20 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, my teaching approach is rooted in a blend of pedagogical theories and practical know-how. I employ the Feynman Method to break down complex topics into simpler, easy-to-understand concepts. Additionally, I use Active Learning techniques to ensure that students are fully engaged and taking part in their learning process. While I can't remember every pedagogical theory from my extensive training in teaching, I've internalized the best practices, resulting in a unique and effective teaching style.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Introduction (5 minutes): Brief overview of the day's topic.
Concept Discussion (15 minutes): Using the Feynman Method, we'll delve into the core principles of the day's lesson.
Active Learning Session (20 minutes): Students will engage in exercises that allow them to apply what they've learned.
Review and Q&A (10 minutes): Summary of what we've covered and a chance for students to ask questions.
Homework Assignment (5 minutes): A small assignment to reinforce the day’s lessons.
