About Jane
Hi, I’m Jane, and I’m here to help you navigate the tricky parts of programming, machine learning, math, and statistics. I’ve been working in these fields for over 10 years, and I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. This background has helped me develop a teaching style that adapts to how you learn best—whether that’s through visuals, practical examples, or breaking things down step by step.
Everyday I work with people that are from different disciplines like computer science, biology, and physics. I’ve learned how to communicate complex ideas in a clear, straightforward way, no matter your background. My Approach as a Tutor:
With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I have a deep understanding of how to deliver information in ways that resonate different individuals. Whether it's through visual aids, written explanations, or using the renowned Feynman technique, I adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of my students. My goal is to make learning accessible and engaging, ensuring that complex topics are broken down and made understandable in a way that aligns with each student’s learning preferences.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
My lesson structure follows a clear and logical framework:
1. Identifying the Main Problem: We start by defining the core issue or concept we aim to address during the session.
2.Reviewing Required Knowledge: We then identify the knowledge necessary to solve the problem. If the student already has a foundation, we briefly review it to ensure it’s solid. Otherwise, we refresh or learn the relevant information.
3. Strengthening Existing Knowledge: After reviewing the basics, we consolidate the pre-existing knowledge to ensure a strong grasp of essential concepts.
4.Learning the New Material: Moving on to the new, more complex aspects, I tailor the learning method to what best suits the student – whether it’s through visualizing concepts, memorizing definitions, or breaking down logical steps.
5.Solving the Problem: Finally, we apply this knowledge to address and solve the main problem we outlined at the start of the lesson.
What Sets Me Apart:
I work in an interdisciplinary field, collaborating with professionals from diverse scientific backgrounds such as biology, physics, math, and computer science. This experience has honed my ability to adapt my communication style, ensuring effective information transmission across disciplines.
