About Rhea
My interest in programming began with curiosity about creating solutions using logic and code. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, where I gained both theoretical and practical experience in software development. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided learners from beginners to advanced coders, helping them develop both confidence and competence in programming.
I focus on structured, patient, and supportive teaching. Many learners initially feel intimidated by abstract concepts or complex syntax, so I provide step-by-step guidance, practical examples, and interactive exercises. My lessons encourage independent problem-solving, experimentation, and analytical thinking, enabling students to understand the principles behind their code rather than relying on memorization.
Outside the classroom, I continue to explore programming languages, frameworks, and emerging technologies, integrating relevant insights into my lessons. Teaching programming is highly rewarding because I witness learners grow from uncertainty to proficiency, applying their skills creatively, confidently, and independently. Supporting their journey toward mastery remains the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Programming becomes engaging when learners understand the logic behind code and the process of translating ideas into functional solutions. My lessons focus on Python, Java, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and project-based problem-solving. I emphasize logical thinking, structured reasoning, and practical application, ensuring learners not only write code but also understand why it works. Hands-on exercises, guided projects, and conceptual discussions provide a robust learning experience that builds both skill and confidence.
Lesson content is customized for each student. Beginners explore basic syntax, variables, loops, conditions, and simple program structures. Intermediate learners develop modular coding, functions, debugging skills, and small-scale projects. Advanced learners tackle complex algorithms, optimization techniques, application programming interfaces, and larger-scale projects. Each session integrates guided practice, iterative exercises, and problem-solving to consolidate learning and develop mastery.
Programming lessons nurture critical thinking, creativity, and perseverance. Students gradually develop the ability to tackle complex coding challenges, think systematically, and analyze problems efficiently. Many experience satisfaction as they see their ideas come to life through functional programs. My goal is to empower learners to become independent programmers, capable of applying knowledge creatively, solving challenges efficiently, and building confidence in their coding skills.
