About Sophie
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering and have spent nine years teaching programming to students at multiple levels. My passion lies in guiding learners to transform conceptual understanding into practical applications, fostering both technical competence and confidence. I emphasise personalised instruction, hands-on practice, and iterative problem-solving. My teaching encourages curiosity, resilience, and independent thinking, ensuring students gain skills applicable both in coding and broader problem-solving. Outside the classroom, I continue to develop software projects, explore new technologies, and participate in professional programming communities. Programming is more than a career — it is a lifelong passion, and mentoring students to master it is my professional purpose and joy.
