About Ella
I am a passionate and patient Violin tutor with 7 years of hands-on teaching experience, having successfully guided around 150 students across various skill levels. Teaching violin allows me to help students build discipline, focus, and self-confidence.
My lessons emphasise mastering fundamentals such as posture correction, smooth bow coordination, accurate intonation, tone production, and rhythm control. As students progress, I introduce advanced exercises, dynamic control, articulation techniques, and stage preparation.
I maintain a calm and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I provide structured practice strategies and consistent feedback to ensure measurable improvement.
A unique quality I bring is my ability to build student confidence while maintaining high technical standards. My goal is to develop expressive and confident musicians.

I believe that violin learning should be systematic, inspiring, and practical. My teaching style is built on open communication and continuous feedback. I carefully adapt lessons to match the student’s level and learning style. I guide them through important techniques such as vibrato development, shifting accuracy, articulation control, and dynamic variation.
In addition to violin training, I teach related subjects including music theory, rhythm practice, ear exercises, sight reading, music history, and ensemble skills.
I use examples from real performance experiences like school concerts, competitions, and graded exams to prepare students for stage situations. I also emphasise disciplined practice habits and goal setting. My objective is to build technical strength, confidence, and creativity.
