About Hanisha

I am a mother to two beautiful children, and a profoundly deaf BSL user with two generations of deafness.. I have a BA honours in Business and have a passion for Indian dancing, hiking, skiing and learning new things.

I am a member of the Nupur Arts committee which enables access to dance classes for disability accessibility advice for the last year.

Traveling as a family is something that I am also passionate about.

In Leicester, I host a regular Coffee group that meets with BSL users, that is open for all, this is on Facebook this is BSL Cafe-Leicester, this enables confidence and engagement with others and has proven positive outside their learning sessions in a social environment.

About the lesson

I am proud to attain 24 years of expertise and qualifications within BSL and Deaf Awareness Training.

I am a BSL user qualified I have taught in a wide range of settings, in public and private sectors and private tutoring. I am qualified at level 3 to I teach Levels 1 and 2.

I have previously worked as a Signature assessor marking BSL level 1 exams for 11 years and BSL level 2 exams for almost 3 years. So have a strong knowledge of what is required.

My lessons can be conducted as a 1:1 or in a group session, remotely or face to face within the Leicestershire area.

I am so enthusiastic about teaching people to sign and helping them to achieve their goals relating to learning makes me feel very proud. I can signpost to centres for accreditation.

He is a good signer too. He need more practice with me as his receptive and productive improvements continue to until he will join to online level 2 by other tutor soon.
