About Saakshi

I am an MSc neuroscience graduate from King’s College London with a strong academic and research background. I have written numerous academic essays and developed skills in critical thinking, analysis, and clear communication. In my tutoring, I focus on understanding each student’s individual learning style and tailoring lessons to their needs. I aim to make complex concepts accessible, build confidence, and develop practical skills—whether in essay writing, problem-solving, or subject understanding—while creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.

About the lesson

I will start my lessons with understanding the students' abilities by talking to them and giving them a few knowledge questions. I will tailor my sessions to each student depending on their pace of learning and what sort of help they would like, whether it be learning and understanding content or trying to learn exam technique. From what was covered in each session I will make a note of how far we got and be sure to consolidate the key aspects in the next session before moving on. As a student I know how overwhelming this can all be so I will make sure to change my teaching methods to cater for the student.
