About Renata
Hi! I’m an MSW student at Rutgers University with a clinical focus in social work and a strong academic foundation in psychology. I enjoy helping students break down complex psychological theories and concepts into clear, manageable ideas that are actually understandable.
My academic background enables me to support students in introductory and college-level psychology courses, particularly in topics such as major theorists, historical foundations of psychology, theoretical approaches, and exam or essay preparation. I focus on building understanding, not memorization, so students feel confident applying concepts in their coursework.
As a tutor, my approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, strengthen their study skills, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.
