About Hannah
Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m a psychology graduate with a strong interest in education and supporting young people. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand new concepts and seeing their confidence grow. Through my experience working in education and supporting students with a range of learning needs, I’ve developed a real passion for making learning feel accessible, enjoyable and less overwhelming. I want to tutor because I enjoy helping students reach their potential and want to provide the encouragement and individual support that can make a real difference to their learning.

I have a strong background in psychology and education, having achieved a First Class BSc in Psychology in Education and recently completed an MSc in Development, Disorders and Clinical Practice at the University of York. Alongside my studies, I have gained several years of experience working in education, including as a Learning Support Practitioner at a further education college and as an Academic Support Worker at the University of York.
I have supported students across a range of ages and abilities, including students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety and SEMH needs. This experience has taught me how important it is to adapt lessons to each individual student and their learning style. I have also provided online A-Level Psychology tutoring, so I understand the importance of combining clear explanations with exam technique, revision strategies and confidence-building.
My lessons are relaxed, encouraging and personalised, with the aim of helping students not only improve their knowledge and grades but also become more confident and independent learners.
