About Grace
With over 6 years of tutoring experience in both the U.S. and Korea, I bring a strong academic background and a proven track record of helping students succeed. I graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. in Psychological Sciences (GPA 3.8+) and earned a 5 in AP Psychology, giving me both subject expertise and insight into effective test preparation.
Beyond academics, my professional experience in legal and translation roles has strengthened my attention to detail, organization, and communication — skills I apply to every lesson. My teaching approach is personalized and structured, focusing on both conceptual understanding and practical application. With a Bachelor's degree in psychological sciences (GPA 3.8 +) and over 6 years of tutoring experience in the U.S. and Korea, I adapt to each student’s learning style.
For AP Psychology, I simplify complex theories and reinforce learning through active recall and exam-focused practice.
For essay writing, I focus on clear structure, strong arguments, and step-by-step revisions. My legal experience and preparation for law school also help me teach logical reasoning and persuasive writing effectively.
For Korean lessons, I emphasize conversational fluency while building reading and writing skills.
What sets me apart is my 6+ years of tutoring experience across both the U.S. and Korea, working with students of different ages and learning styles. I scored a 5 in AP Psychology and understand how to teach for both deep understanding and exam success. I also have experience designing structured curricula rather than simply assisting with homework.
