About Maya
Hi, I’m Maya!
I’m a Master’s-level psychology student with a strong academic record and experience in education and counseling. I earned top grades across all of my psychology courses and have a solid background in university-level science and quantitative subjects. My approach to tutoring is grounded in psychological science. I focus on how we learn using evidence-based strategies for motivation, confidence, and long-term understanding. I tailor each session to the individual- helping with specific topics, or improving study and organizational skills.

Hi, I’m Maya!
I’m a Master’s-level student with experience in childhood education and counselling. I earned top grades in all of my psychology courses and have also excelled in university-level science and math. As a psychology student, I understand how learning and motivation work, and I tailor my tutoring style to each student’s needs to build confidence and strong study skills.
I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, and I aim to make learning engaging and empowering.
Ideal student: High School or University level.
Methods: I provide an overview of the topics to give students foundational knowledge for exam success. I can dive into specific areas of Psychology, Statistics, Cognitive Science, Biology. I assist with essay writing. I also provide organizational and personalized study skills.
