I am a Cognitive Scientist with a Ph.D. in Psychology.
My expertise is at the intersection of Cognitive Science and Social Cognition with a particular focus on cognitive biases, learning, and decision-making. I have 20 years experience in cognitive science research and teach a range of topics (e.g., Statistics, Research Methods, Brain Development, Decision-making, Child Development, etc.).
I am passionate about utilizing cognitive science research to foster communication and enhance learning and decision-making.
My teaching style integrates my understanding of the science of learning and communication with my passion for teaching.
I pride myself on using a variety of different pedagogical tools and testing techniques to help students learn to the best of their ability and at a level that's right for them!

I pride myself on using a variety of different teaching tools and learning approaches that have been backed by years of research on effective teaching methods.
I outline the Learning Objectives (i.e. Goals) for each lesson, session or exercise and provide clear lesson plans.
I like to use real-world examples, interactive exercises, and ‘multi-modal’ learning techniques so there is 'something for everyone' regardless of your learning style.
My students especially like the practice questions, demos, examples, and self-assessment exercises that allow them to assess their knowledge of the material and ensure their success.
I offer both introductory lessons and advanced lessons, depending on your level.
